Cedar Lodge Motel

Easy check in and out. Motel was a little dated on the outside. The non smoking queen room, also out of date, was clean, had a microwave and small fridge, which were great. Small coffee maker, but we did not use. The bed was comfortable, but too soft for our liking. The bathroom was renovated nicely, modern and chic. Water pressure was good and enough towels were provided. They had basic toiletries and they smelled good. On a separate building at the front facing the road, there's a cold pool, hot tub and sauna, which we used and really liked the amneties included. You have to ask for extra towels at the front desk area. The motel is centrally located; stores, attractions, and downtown area were all nearby, some walkable if one chose to do so. Overall would definitely recommend to stay here. It wasn't busy when we went as a couple during end of May, but can only imagine how busy it gets during the summer season.

This place was an excellent find! Great location clean ,comfortable and complete value for your money. The pool was a good size water a comfortable temperature and clean. I’ve stayed at hotels in Niagara where the pool and jacuzzi were plain gross..

Mary, who was working the office reception greeted me with friendliness and professionalism. The room was nice and clean, the bed very comfortable and bathroom was sparkling. Great job by Seanna in housekeeping. All in all my stay was very cozy and comfortable.

Nice, clean , renovated room. Friendly staff. The only issue was the WiFi, if you need wifi access, this is not the place for you (hopefully they fix it).

It's a 2 star. It's not newly renovated or trendy or all that flashy stuff. It is affordable. It is clean. It is comfortable. There's friendly helpful staff - especially with last minute planning. It is tidy. It is well kept. The bed is comfortable to sleep on - afternoon nap/crash (hey it was a late night..) - I'll know better tomorrow morning. The bathroom is newer and nice, if glaring brilliant white counts as nice. The pool was too cold for my preference, the hot tub -

We love this place! Always stay here when we come to goderich. It’s very clean, beds are comfy. the fridges are really big and comes with a microwave! The tv has lots of channels to watch! The pool and hot tub and sauna are a huge hit with the kids! Definitely recommend ! Staff is super nice and accommodating!

Great Value, wasn't a top notch hotel but I wasn't expecting one. Pool/Hottub was operating, jacuzzi in room was working. Clean rooms. Great location.

Cheaper stay doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad and Cedar Lodge is a fair example of it. While looking for the budget stays just for the night, we came across this one. Trusting their website for amenities and reviews on various platforms online, we booked it and our expectations were not too high. Looking at the room and amenities upon arrival, we were rather surprised. The queen room was clean, decent and appropriately spacious with basic appliances in clean, working condition. The amenities like pool, hot tub and sauna were not top notch, but value for money for sure. Less crowded, so you can experience them at your own pace. Would go there again!
